The Enterprise Asset Management advantages

Easy to integrate

Asset Management can easily be built into an existing Dynamics 365 platform. Alternatively, if you upgrade to Dynamics 365 as part of your digital transformation, it’s easy to incorporate our Enterprise Asset Management system right away.

Cloud convenience

The Dynamics 365 platform is built on Azure, so you’ll no longer need the space or manpower to manage on premise servers. It’s all included in your Dynamics 365 subscription. What’s more, 90 percent of Fortune 500 businesses run on this trusted Microsoft Cloud.

Single version of the truth

By eliminating disparate systems, Dynamics 365 delivers a single version of the truth. In other words, everything’s connected and integrated. This will increase operational efficiency, while eliminating the maintenance and integration costs associated with disparate systems.

From acquiring to retiring, your organisation needs to
constantly track and manage a wide range of assets.
Maximising the value of these assets through their entire
lifecycle is key, especially within asset-intensive industries
like manufacturing, transportation, real estate, oil and gas.
that’s why choosing the right enterprise asset
management system is vital.

Opt for a future-proof system

With reduced costs high on everyone’s agenda, it might seem appealing
to opt for a low-cost standalone enterprise asset management system,
which may appear to meet your immediate needs.

However, if you’re serious about your organisation’s digital transformation,
such an option is a false economy that will cost you more in the long run.
You must consider a system that is fully-integrated with
all your other systems and completely future-proof.

Powerful Features & Functions

Forecasting and planning
  • The EAM forecasting model generates maintenance schedules and budgets
  • Job cards can be planned automatically by the planning engine
  • The planning engine optimises job card execution based on requirements (skills, resource availability, resource groups, start date and criticality)
  • The maintenance schedule is shown as a Gantt chart providing an excellent overview of the job card status.
Preventive maintenance
  • Based on preconfigured metrics (calendar based, measurement based, or condition based)
  • Metrics are linked to the asset or equipment register
  • A new job card is triggered when a metric is reached or within a specified threshold.
Corrective maintenance
  • Asset/equipment operator identifies a failure and registers downtime – triggering a service request to the maintenance department
  • The maintenance worker identifies a failure and creates a corrective work order to register time, materials and action taken
  • The actual asset/equipment reports a failure via an inbuilt IoT device.
Predictive maintenance
  • Maintenance work is scheduled according to data projections and preconfigured metrics
  • A new job card is triggered when a metric is reached or is within a specified threshold
  • Azure machine learning can be used to analyse historical data and predict failures – job cards can be initiated on this analysis.
Condition-based maintenance
  • Initiated when inbuilt IoT sensors identify assets or equipment showing decreasing performance or upcoming failures
  • Then specific measures can be configured to trigger maintenance job cards
